Viva Tigrai, an international Tigrigna speaking paltalk room, has raised more than $50,000.00 birr in short time to help homeless people in Tigrai, Mekelle and surrounding. Fundraising by the group will continue and will create a plan to make awareness around preventing and ending homelessness. A committee is established to lead an event to feed the homeless in this coming Ethiopian Christmas in Tigrai, Mekelle.

TDA Millennium Telethon A Resounding Success

This week Mr. Yared Berhe (Rahwa Media owner) has pledged $5000.00 (Ethiopian Birr) to TDA in a Geza Tegaru and Viva Tigrai paltalk room. (October 5, 2008)

Geza Tegaru Raised 18,000 dollars

Geza Tegaru, a paltalk room, has raised 20,000 dollars in short time for the occasion of TDA Millennium Telethon event. Fundraising by similar paltalk rooms and Geza Tegaru will continue. Thank you for all who made the telethon a success. (October 6, 2008)
